‘Amakihi

The most adaptable and abundant of the native Hawaiian honeycreepers, ‘Amakihi are found on the Big Island, Maui, and Moloka‘i in all types of habitat from sea level to 9,500 feet in elevation. The tiny yellow-green birds forage for insects, nectar, and fruit in native and non-native forests alike.
